Project Overview
The client wanted a WordPress news website focused on women’s news, where visitors could easily read the latest updates from multiple trusted sources. They needed a clean, fast, and easy-to-use website with an automated system that keeps content updated without manual publishing.
Our Solution
We designed and developed a responsive WordPress website using the Kadence theme, creating a clean layout that makes browsing news simple across all devices.
To automate content updates, we generated custom RSS feeds from the client’s preferred news sources using RSS.app and integrated them into WordPress with WP RSS Aggregator. We also developed a custom WordPress plugin that runs automated cron jobs every two hours to fetch the latest news and display the 25 most recent headlines on a dedicated news page. This fully automated solution ensures visitors always have access to fresh content while reducing ongoing website maintenance.
