The client required a custom WooCommerce shipping solution for their Portuguese online store that automatically displays the correct shipping methods based on product brands, stock availability, and fulfillment locations. The solution needed to integrate with the Flexible Shipping and Awesome Brands plugins while supporting different shipping rules for local fulfillment, drop shipping, and international delivery.

The shipping logic included multiple brand-specific conditions, location-based local pick-up options, and dynamic shipping methods to ensure customers always received accurate delivery choices during checkout.

We developed a custom WooCommerce shipping solution tailored to the client’s business requirements and seamlessly integrated it into their existing WordPress store. The shipping logic was built around custom business rules to automatically display the correct delivery methods based on product brand, stock availability, and shipping destination.

The solution includes:

  • Brand-specific shipping rules for multiple product categories.
  • For Brands 1 & 2:
    – Display Local Pick-Up and Shipping Method #1 (Shipped from Portugal) when stock is available in Portugal.
    – Automatically switch to Local Pick-Up (5–6 Days) and Shipping Method #2 (Shipped from Germany) when products are fulfilled through drop shipping.
  • For Brands 3 & 4:
    – Display Local Pick-Up and Shipping Method #1 (Shipped from Portugal) when local stock is available.
    – Automatically display Local Pick-Up (5–6 Days) and Shipping Method #2 (Shipped from Portugal + 2 Weeks) when extended fulfillment is required.
  • Local Pick-Up available exclusively for customers in Portugal.
  • Dynamic shipping methods based on product stock, brand, and shipping zone.
  • Seamless integration with the Flexible Shipping and Awesome Brands plugins.
  • Automatic shipping method selection during checkout without manual intervention.
